For this monumental city project, a strategic brand strategy and upgraded brand identity was created for Denver's historical Five Points Historic Cultural District. This included months of research, strategy, collaboration with area business owners, presentations to the community and buy-in from board members and other stakeholders. Once the direction for the new brand was established, it was also executed through logo and website updates, billboard artwork and other outdoor signage.
Twenty building signs were redesign and recreated during this project. The signs can be seen throughout the self-guided walking tour that leads residents and visitors through the series of historic markers within the Five Points Historic Cultural District. The illustrated signs tell stories about the people, places and ideas that helped shape African-American culture and history in Denver.
